Most of these properties you are receiving are Real Estate Owned (REOs). That means the bank already foreclosed on the property, and now that property is a “non-performing asset” on their books. The bank wants nothing more than to liquidate that non-performing asset.

On the surface, these foreclosures might not look as though they’re priced aggressively. But here's the thing, you never know what banks are willing to accept for those foreclosures until you make an offer. I advise my clients to make multiple offers on several properties until you are happy with the price.

I just closed escrow last week with a foreclosure Buyer- she made 5 offers until she found a bank that was willing to accept an offer 23% below the asking price! That was a good deal!
